Shenandoah Sunrise Maternity Session - Virginia Portrait Photography

So recently I posted about how the first time I picked up a camera to take photos of people other than my family since mid-March was for some “front porch sessions” in my own neighborhood. A couple of weeks later, I had the pleasure of doing my first real portrait session since shutdown - and it was a sunrise session on Skyline Drive. Now, I’m not a morning person no matter how poetic I might wax about this light - but y’all, this light was WORTH IT. Yeah, I was giddy about it! I kind of want to do ALL the sunrise portrait sessions in the Shenandoah mountains. I’ll let the photos tell you why! But I’m so grateful to this young couple, expecting their first baby in the midst of all this craziness, for sharing a little of their time and this light with me <3
